Named after the Frangipani tree that used to stand in front, Frangipani Restaurant & Bar dominates what has become the liveliest street in Kuala Lumpur: Changkat Bukit Bintang, though the regulars simply call it "Changkat". Frangipani serves contemporary French cuisine, offering one of the city's best dining experiences.
From its art deco façade to the still black pool in the middle of the dining room, from its perforated stainless steel walls to the skylight, Frangipani is the epitome of understated style. The stunning interior by award wining architect Zaini Zainul of ZDR, recently updated by Brian Quirk from Q&A, is modern, sexy and sophisticated yet intimate and warm.
In the dining room Chef Chris Bauer creates a seasonal menu, often presenting surprising and unusual flavour elaborations that tantalize the palate. Mingle with the beautiful people upstairs at the Frangipani bar while you sip champagne and some of the best cocktails in town or enjoy a bottle of excellent wine at Bibitus, Frangipani's new wine bar.
